Group,
I am doing a series of 10 images for a feature article along with the
cover for this Trade publication. I have always delivered Master
TIFs to clients who Repurpose in multiple ways.
I inquired as to what his workflow was. Did not directly know. Had
him go into PS 7.x and look under Color Settings. It is set to sRGB
for RGB working space. Says he converts to CMYK in PS and then drops
into Quark (unkonwn version) and then creates PDF for delivery to
press person.
OK
Even though he has Preserve Embedded Profiles chosen and Ask when
opening checked, am I better off:
Tagged AdobeRGB
Converting to AdobeRGB and embedding the profile.
Converting to sRGB and embedding the profile.
And would it matter if he honored my profile and then either
converted to his CMYK on his end or first converted to sRGB and then
to CMYK flavor.
These are images of people (warmish gelled) against a bluish outdoor
dusk scene. So a warm/cool predominant image. 25 points or more C
than M at least.
I feel nervous about my images.
I sure do appreciate any thoughts on this matter.
