Are you saying that you have found a way to bypass Camera Raw’s default generic profile or are you saying that you have successfully profiled on top of the inherent Camera Raw conversion.
No, I’m profiling on top of the rendered data that was encoded in ProPhoto RGB. Like I said, its not impossible if you are one of those people that feels that if you don’t produce a custom profile, you are a photo wimp. That said, I didn’t find anything doing this brings to the party. It certainly isn’t ideal (and in the case of Camera RAW, necessary).
