Agreed but this is a difficult objective to define. I agree we want the image to appear as we think we remember seeing it. How do we agree that we’ve done this, other than to ask the photographer who shot the image if they are happy with what they are now seeing? Is there a metric one can use to evaluate this or are we back to “pleasing color”?
