So, making measurement with UV filtration should not correlate with viewing
prints under any kinds of light sources having some UV content since that UV
content will inevitably excite the fluorescence in the paper.
What you're saying is if measurements are made with UV filtration then
UV-free lamps or UV filters should be placed in front of lamps illuminating
the prints. Otherwise, we're not being consistent in our approach?
The way I understand in my own practice and that of 99.9% of all color folks
I know, a UV filter is used to make the measurements AND the prints are
viewed under unfiltered light sources, JUST-Normlicht, GTI, Solux,
whathever.
So, all these 99.9% people have been wrong all along?
