Yes, but what then if the target doesn't match? That's what the OP wants to
know -- how to get it to match.

Like Mark Segal, I too wonder which exact procedures were used by the OP to
profile the monitor and the printer (in particular, what combination of
measuring instrument and instruments and software for the printer. Also
first we are told "xrite" supposedly for both monitor and printer -- which
is not precise enough information --, and then "Eizo monitor and Color
Navigator" for the display: that's confusing).

Once that is made clear, it may be easier to hazard a guess as to what the
trouble may be.
