It doesn't take a lot to maintain a PC, just common sense. It's less effort than it appears to be.

It wasn't the kids pc I was talking about. It was IT's. This is essentially the problem. You have to do a LOT of homework or hire a expert like yourself or Matt to maintain a PC. I don't have the time or inclination for this. I just want to focus on the end product rather than the tool. This is not a religious argument. I resisted the attraction for many years but i eventually caved into the seduction of Macs. I just find that you plug a Mac in follow the prompts (which are written in a language I understand) and go for it. Every time I look for help on a PC I end up with more questions and a lot of wasted time. Enough already. Surrender. Enjoy. That's my motto now.
