I find myself needing to calibrate a new MacBook Pro (retina display).
The color balance is definitely off. The best instrument available to me
is an i1 Pro (rev. A).
What reasonably-priced software package would you recommend for monitor
calibration? ("Reasonable" meaning around $100, if possible???)
For calibration purposes, do I need to worry (or think about) the fact
that this laptop can automatically choose one of two graphics paths --
either using the Intel Iris Pro or the NVIDIA GeForce?
(As background: I also have a collection of dusty colorimeter pucks,
along with various software that will not run on Mavericks due to the
earlier demise of Rosetta -- which partly explains why I've been on Snow
Leopard till now...)
Thank you,
Armand
