Hi Bill,
is it possible you to share the characterization data with us? At it’s best, also with the spectral data (if available).
If not, could you please share the relevant data (primary ramps 0% to 100%) of the measured chart?
By having that data, one can calculate the dot gain with a spreadsheet application to verify the results.
You mention you “see the same high TVI I in the 1.96% areas”. Here’s from your first post for cyan:
1.96%:
ColorAnt 26%
Press 24%
ColorThink 7% @1%, 13% @2%
How do you know the press TVI of 24% for that patch? Did you measure with a (spectro-)densitometer? If yes, what was the density standard used to derive the TVI?
What about the other primary colors? Don’t they match in the same way?
And one last question: What is the statement of X-Rite and/or CGS support? Did you contact them?
