I mean Fogra Contract Proofs, to 52 on Fogra approved GMG matte OBA paper.
There’s no way I’d send these separations to press as it would be a disaster.
Every time we get a new standard we go through the same process of generating
custom profiles which we will test and then use on worldwide campaigns where
the images benefit from different k amounts, widths and starts.
Matching the ECI or Photoshop generics isn’t usually an issue — it’s matching
GMG’s ColorServer profiles that are more problematic.
The profiles from the 52 data aren’t useable.
We can’t get them to match the ECI profile.
And we definitely can’t match GMG’s ColorServer PSO Uncoated v3 conversions as
yellow percentages exceed magenta throughout the neutrals.
