Yes
We are hoping to have an SDK release in July. That release will
contain a build of HAL Lab that has support for these properties;
we're hoping this solves the immediate problem of giving driver
writers an platform to test their implementation.
Then (well, you don't have to wait until then I guess!) you can prod
appropriate apps/drivers to support this feature.
