Hi Vojtech, you’re thinking wrong: it is the case. the maximum buffer size itself is the same, but the number of sampleframes per process call can differ. You won’t be able to synchronize any two plugins at all. The host (and not only Logic, nearly all other hosts, too) can decide a whole amount of things when to render, what to render and on which song position. multithreading, latency compensation etc. will do the rest. cu Timo From: coreaudio-api-bounces+tk.coreaudio=email@hidden [mailto:coreaudio-api-bounces+tk.coreaudio=email@hidden] On Behalf Of MeldaProduction Sent: Wednesday, November 17, 2010 12:55 PM To: email@hidden Subject: Re: HostCallback_GetBeatAndTempo malfunction in Logic? Thanks, but I don't think it is the case, because the buffer sizes seem the same. Well, I didn't check for that, but for every render call, the offset between the plugins is the same and also the number of calls is the same. It could perform one weird render call in the beginning, which could create the offset, but that wouldn't make much sense. Also is there a way to disable this behaviour in Logic?
Thanks, Vojtech |
