There's some followup to this. Not only did Oracle endorse Xserve
RAID, but they chose it for their own internal deployments, when they
could have picked anything they wanted.
Here is a detailed Q&A session with Apple's Director of Server/Storage
products with Alex Grossman, who knows more about storage than anybody
I know, including my colleagues at EMC, HP & IBM.
