I must say that setting up a Unicast stream with a feed from a Firewire
enabled camera into QuickTime Broadcaster which then pumps it out to
QTSS does pretty much work out of the box. The QTSS publisher which
came out with Panther Server also makes it much easier to get content
up on a web site.
1. Start QTSS on your Xserve.
2. Hook an iSight camera (or any other FW enabled camera) up to a PB
running QT Broadscaster.
3. Point QTB at your QTSS
4. Connect to the RTSP stream via QT Player.
That's it for a basic Unicast configuration.
You could then launch QTSS Publisher, pick from one of 2 amazing :-)
templates and embed the stream in a web page served off the QTSS.
