Title: RE: [Fed-Talk] Elimination of Macs
The way our (local mail server) is configured, the only mail that gets sent to AKO is from outside of out LAN. Our mail server strips out your local address(as the replyto address) and inserts your AKO address. The recipient replies to AKO, which forwards to the local mail server.
Mail sent from within the lan never leaves the mail server.
My guess is that's why you are not getting all your mail.
If your server allows it, you can configure/create a server side rule that forwards all your new messages to AKO. (You'll need to logon to a windows box to do this.)

I appreciate all of the responses to my situation at our location. I owe some replies to those of you who have asked for additional information. I will respond shortly to those requests.
However, in the interim, to restore better email functionality, I have been attempting to set up Mail.app to work with AKO. This morning, using the directions on the site, I appeared to have been successful.
However, as the day went on, I noticed that very little message traffic actually was being received through Mail.app. It seems that most mail, at least locally generated messages, still are routed through the local domain (for which I only have limited webmail services). These messages do have the correct AKO address.
Any further assistance or insight would be of help.
John Niles
