Apparently the "configure" script understands Darwin, but the shadow.h
file is missing so the standard source that includes the pam_tally
module won't compile easily on Mac OS X. Thus I need a ported version
which I still haven't been able to find (and none of the Linux PAM
developers/supports know anything about).
Does anyone have a pam_tally PAM module that would work for 10.3.9?
It seems that *someone* would have ported this already, but ...
Thanks for any help,
Debbie
PS If anyone wants to try to build it, the source code is available from
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/libs/pam/pre/library/Linux-PAM-0.80.tar.gz
