Mike,
You are certainly one of them, but it seems like it must be more than just
that you digitally sign it. I send and receive digitally signed messages
all the time and it's only certain Apple user's messages that come through
with attachments to attachments to attachments. When I opened the last
message you sent, it appears blank with two attachments. One is called
ATT312392 contains the list footers. The other is an untitled.eml
attachment. Opening that, I get a blank message with two more
attachments. One is the smime.p7s (digital signature). The other is
UntitledAttachment.msg. Opening that produces another blank message with
two attachments. One is the html version of your message and the other is
the plain text version. I am currently reading this on a PC using Outlook
but I get similar results using Entourage and Steve Herman reports getting
it using apple mail client. I'll sign this one and see if anyone reports
that it comes as an attachment to an attachment.
While I was writing this another message from you came through, without
all the attachments
Dave

I suspect I am one of them... if you digitally sign a message it
attacches a file containing the signature and message checksum
(smime.p7s I believe).
Most mail clients open it automaticaly and verify authenticity (apple
mail and entourage do), but I am not sure about others.
