Hi Dave,
So, I want to be able to set the preference on a single system so that every
user on that system has the same settings. Remotely, would be nice if there
was a way to set a group policy or something, via Open Directory/Active
Directory.
OK, small rant ... I just find it really stupid that Apple put the Security
Preference pane under the "Personal" grouping. And that as a regular user I
can change the "Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen
saver". All of those settings should be manageable.
I really wish Apple would start thinking and implementing a better way to
manage all of the preferences on a system, preferably via Open Directory /
Active Directory.
