Any algorithm is not "uncrackable" by nature, it's important to have a high
enough computational security threshold to make brute forcing it
unrealistic. In the case of file vault I would probably focus on brute
forcing your password since I should be able to get into it quicker then
brute forcing the AES key. That however could be days, months, years of CPU
time depending on how strong it is.
