If you're running XP, 2000, etc it co-exists... Windows Vista
required removal of OS X (or at least did, we were able to get it
working with some workaround and coexisting with OS X).
Here is the part that sux... all of this research is being done on my
own systems because our division won't order any more Macs..
niiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Since we are basically ripping out the soul of the Mac anyhow, has

Ripping the soul out?
It just adds tools to the Mac user's arsenal. Notice that BootCamp
doesn't
_remove_ Mac OS X, it allows you to install Windows along side of it.
Notice the condescending-to-Windows verbiage on the BootCamp page too.
This is no more ripping the soul out than Virtual PC is.
We all require different tools and OSes from time to time to get
the job
done, now people don't need to carry multiple machines around to
accomplish all of their duties.
