Probably not going to be able to do so.
Both Mac Mail & MS Entourage) require Exchange 2000, IMAP, and Outlook Web Access.
I don't know about the AF, but I know OWA has been turned off by DA directive.

By using a SCR311 card reader, flashed to firmware 5.18, and Phil Hopfners "CAC on A Mac" guide I was able to get the CAC reader to run no problem on my MacBook Pro, G5 tower and g4 PowerBook. I was able to use Safari immediately and with a bit of tweaking got FireFox 2.0 to work.
I couldn't test it on the exchange side however since our base is still using Exchange 5.5 and the Mac Mail client doesn't seem to like it.
