All,
First off, I'd like to know if anyone has compiled a list of Mac OS
X lockdowns. I know DISA has Unix STIG's, but there are no official
Mac OS X STIG's.
There are STIGs for 10.2 but none have been posted for more recent versions.
I'm not sure if this is the right list to ask my final question, so
please let me know what list would be if this is not: Does anyone
know where I go to look for Mac OS X related goverment jobs? I have
been using usajobs.gov and haven't seen anything. My background is
NeXT and Mac OS X with Objective-C and Java experience. I know
WebObjects as well.
http://jobs.llnl.gov/prod_index.html I don't believe you will find a
job that only lists Mac experience but there's no harm in trying.
Follow the guidelines and submit a resume online. LLNL used to claim
it was the largest single-site installation of Macs (>8-9K on one
site) but that's slipped to under 3-4K. The Mac people are always
looking for a rebirth and that will require people with higher level
Mac experience.
