I can connect immediately to this site if I'm outside the Pentagon
network, but am blocked when trying to connect from inside the
Pentagon, even with firewall settings removed and making the domain
a "trusted" site.
It could be something as simple as the site being down. If it's a
persistent problem, if you have a UNIX based machine at home with
sshd running, you could always SOCKS proxy it.
ssh -C -D 8001 email@hidden
That should be to your home or other unblocked remote machine.
On your work machine, set the network preferences proxy settings to
use SOCKS on localhost port 8001. This will take all your web
traffic through this connection.
