Sorry, got the name wrong. Its the process named pcscd. I killed it using the Activity Monitor located in the Utilities folder. Make sure you select all processes in the Activity Monitor list. Once I’m sure its not running, I start the new Parallels beta, and use USB AutoConnect ON. Then I plug in the usb card reader after Windows is fully up and it works.
