It all comes down to what the DAA says is allowed and what isn't,
because in general a DAA can waive just about any policy. You have to
find the DAA responsible for systems connecting to your networks and
talk to him/her. Usually this is at the base/installation level, but
some MAJCOMs have done some DAA centralization. Probably best to start
with your installation comm squadron and work up from there.
FWIW, the AF is currently discussing centralizing DAAs under AFNETOPS.
