Hi All:
We had some major problems overnight due to a failure of an air
conditioner. I am hoping someone here can quickly help me. On one of
our Xserve Raids, the drives check out okay, and the array set on
one side is fine , but the array set info on the other (lower) set
of drive seems to be lost. If I use rebuild parity in the Raid Admin
utility will that recover the data. And is there a way to recreate
the array without losing the exsiting data. The arrays were probably
just sitttng there when they went down - we just want to recover he
data that is probably still sitting there and get the array set back up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am firefighting a host of
problems caused by the overheating.
Thanks,
-Roy M.
