Not sure if the problem you are having, but I have noticed lately that when
I hit sites that are not PKI sites, they warn me the site may need a PKI
Certificate (Basically prompting me to enter my card) I have seen this on
CNN and a few other sites since going to FF 2.0

We¹ve had our Firefox 2.0 installations cac-enabled for several months now
but suddenly with the auto-updated firefox 2.0.0.1 version, cac-enabled
browsing no longer functions. I¹ve googled error messages Œtil I couldn¹t
stand it any longer but still, I can¹t make it work. Does anyone have the
key to make this version function?
Regards,
Jerry Roy
