I may have to do that... I was just hoping to get an official release... the problem is each intel mac has it's own set of install disks, it would be nice to have one master we could use instead of having to keep a set for each individual type of machine we have (imac 20, imac24, power mac, mac mini, macbook pro).

The only Universal version of any version of Mac OS X 10.4.x is Mac
OS X Server 10.4.7 (Universal). Mac OS X 10.4.x is only available in
a retail box for PowerPC, and the Intel version ships with machines
(obviously). There is no standalone retail Mac OS X 10.4.x (Intel)
package.
Retail packages of Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server 10.5.x will be
Universal.
Why not just keep disk images of the applicable products you're
licensed for?
