David was asking about the OS X L2TP/IPSec client. Obviously only Cisco
can fix the Cisco VPN client. Not that Cisco cares, frankly; I've heard
things about how Cisco "collaborates" that would turn your stomach.
Alternatively, you *can* reconfigure your VPN concentrator to use
L2TP/IPSec, and then the OS X client will work--with a couple of gotchas
that can be worked around.
