It's Finally Working... Below is what I did to get CS3 working.
Step 1
I installed as an Admin user (not Root). I received the error message. None
of the programs would work.
Step 2
I did a chmod myuser:myuser on the following:
/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS3
/Library/Application Support/Adobe
/Library/Application Support/FLEXnet Publisher
Step 3
I did a Repair / Re-install of CS3 with the above ownerships intact.
Step 4
Restart - All is Fine...
I looked up FLEXnet Publisher. It is the activation system Adobe is using.
Not sure if it had anything to do with the problem.
PS - No, I am not using FileVault.
