Title: Re: [Fed-Talk] Windows printing on Windows network UNCLASSIFIED
I have two different windows printers working quite fine on my network. I simply used the “Printer Utility” application, chose the “Internet Protocol” printing and in the address box used only the raw IP address of the printer xxx.xxx.xxx.xx (did not use the //server/xxx.... Format), left the “que” box blank for default que (it shows later in the printer info utility as _xxx_xxx_xxx_xx [same numbers as the IP, except underscores in place of dots]), then pointed the “print using” to the correct driver in the OS X printer’s library.
However — one did not work at first until we realized we needed to also turn on the postscript option at the printer.

Josh,
I believe I followed the afp548 article, to the letter, except for not
having Mac servers to employ.
My printer is set up as ksmb://supportsrv2/242_HP1200. I get no alerts, now.
The print job goes to the printer queue and stays there, indefinitely.
