There seems to be a real Tandberg Fad for videoconferencing

I've used XMeeting to VC with Tandbergs successfully using H.323--it
even has a nice iChat-style interface. However, its big downside is
that it doesn't support encryption. If you network is running system
high and you don't need H.235 encryption, give it a shot. If you do
need encryption, though, it's not going to do the job.
What I've been using more recently is Marratech's VC software <http://www.marratech.com/
>. It's not as fancy, but it's more full featured. I don't know if
it's still for sale to the public (Google acquired their development
team), though it appears to be from their web site.
Neither is as good as one of the small Tandberg or Sony desktop VC
systems, though XMeeting comes close, and if it will work in your
setup, you can't beat the price :-).
