I am aware that you can turn it off in software, itís just an agency
policy thing.

I would urge extreme caution in dealing with this
company. A couple years ago I had them replace a
motherboard in a dual-processor G5. After getting
and confirming a low quote I shipped my computer
to them. (The quote was half what the local
repair shop quoted, so I called back to confirm
then re-confirmed via email, being sure to
include all the detail on my hardware and
specifically telling them their quote sounded
low.)
3 days after delivery to them I hadn't heard
anything so I called and they then upped their
charge to more than double the quoted fee and
refused to honor their twice confirmed quote.
They then kept my computer for 20 days.
The machine sounded like a jet airplane when I
booted it (they failed to do the thermal
calibration on one processor) and they had jammed
the DVD drive in crooked, so I had to get another
repair tech to fix that.
I would throw my hardware away and replace it
rather than let them touch anything of mine again.
