Hi All,
As I mentioned in a past post, I also am having success with the CardMan
3121 and the Oberthur ID One v5.2 card.
>From what I am seeing....It is NOT the fact that the driver doesn't see
the reader, it is the fact that the reader fails to properly read the
card.
I will keep all posted but it will not be until next week sometime.
I have not tried to compile the new SCR331 driver but plan to do so very
soon. The following post also gave some info but I have not yet tried
it either.
CUT FROM POST "[Fed-Talk] Oberthur CAC + 10.5.1 (and 10.5.2 9C16)
works!"
Hello,
Thursby has a new beta driver (
http://www.thursby.com/beta/afc-beta.html ) that allows the new Oberthur
cards to work with the SCR 331 readers.
We have confirmed this works on both 10.5.1 and up to 9C16 of 10.5.2.
The one caveat was that after installing it did not ask to
reboot the system, and the card still did not work until after the
system was rebooted.
I can now sign, encrypt, and decrypt messages in Mail and use it
for CAC protected sites via Safari.

END CUT FROM POST.

Mark,
I have the following readers, and both are performing exceptionally
well under 10.5
Omnikey Cardman 3021

OmniKey Cardman 3121
http://omnikey.aaitg.com/?id=3&tx_okprod_pi1[product]=21
Thanks
