In anticipation of setting up the system, I've been using our existing
system (a Mac workstation and an Xserve) and one of our other Xserve
fileservers to set up a test environment. While the QT Broadcaster
& QTSS
server combination have worked almost flawlessly for me for local
webcasts,
I've been frustrated in my attempts to set up a successful Relay test.
The QTSS Relay instructions in Apple's QTSS documentation are very
sketchy,
and Apple's Media 300 course was more geared to basic Webcasting and
Podcasting, with no coverage of more advanced topics.
Do any of you have any experience in this, or know someone who has?
Even a
example (maybe screen shots of the QTSS Relays pane in Server Admin)
would
be very useful.
1. I highly recommend joining the Streaming Server Users mailing list:

2. soundscreen.com, run by QuickTime Consulting Engineer George Cook <email@hidden
