- Thread-topic: [Fed-Talk] ECA Soft certificate issuer experience?
We used Verisign a while back and had to badger our representative a bit to
convince him we could do it on the Mac but eventually we did get our trusted
agent registered and working on his Mac. Recommend using Firefox for the
initial signup because if I recall correctly there was some issue where
Safari couldn't complete the certificate request process completely. After
we had the certs issued, Safari/Firefox worked fine for web browsing and
Entourage worked fine for signing/encrypting email (I think Apple Mail would
have as well but didn't try).
Thanks,
Duane
