late follow up.
Here is a quickie little I did showing the only FIPS 140-2 products and FileVault. Unfortunately the categories are not really telling... I had to put the list of devices in there for the PC admins who don't understand how Macintosh volumes are abstracted at the file system.
There is also DashCrypt which uses OpenSSL which is FIPS 140-2 certified. What I did not anticipate was using SSL as a data at rest encryption mechanism. It works great.
