Hi all,
fed-talk,
As some of you may know, BSM auditing isn't available on Leopard yet
(which is holding me back from upgrading). But today I received the
following email on the trustedbsd-audit mailing list. Apparently
OpenBSM is available for Leopard.
Does anyone know the relationship between Apple's BSM and OpenBSM? Is
Apple going to defer to OpenBSM requiring us to manually download
updates from freebsd.org, or is Apple going to integrate BSM into
Leopard and support it?
Just curious and hopeful,
Todd

I had problems building openbsm-1.0 on Mac OS X 10.5.1, I've made a
(quick and dirty) patch that builds and appears to work ok. It is
available at:

bsm_token_c.tar.gz
There are two patches, one for configure.ac and one for libbsm/
bsm_token.c to pick up the ipc_perm._seq and ipc_perm._key (note
the single underscore).
Now merged into the OpenBSM perforce branch, thanks!
