Until Apple fixes the Oberthur/CCID/SCR problem, you might try downloading
ADmitMac for CAC. It contains a CCID driver with a patch. If you only want
to install the CCID driver, you can follow these steps:
1) download the kit from Thursby's web site
2) install the package
3) When the setup assistant runs, choose Quit from the file menu
4) Launch the uninstaller, located on the downloaded media
Since you quit from the setup assistant, ADmitMac will not mess with any
settings on your Mac.
If you try this and have problems, send me a note. Please don't call
Thursby technical support just for questions about the CCID.
NOTE: The CCID fix will NOT fix problems related to Safari, etc.
