There IS an upside to the AGM:
1) The Golden master will provide you with a tested and functional solution
that works with your CAC.
2) You will get as much Exchange support as Entourage will provide with
guidance on configuring this to work with CAC.
3) You don't have to purchase the extra stuff you would otherwise need to
get a Mac to work.
4) You get a gold master that your DOIM has a good chance of approving for
use.
I don't think too many people want to do all this by themselves.
As far as them locking down a lot of stuff, I doubt you will see that for a
while yet.
