Not wanting to sound like my IA guys, these are not your Macs, they
belong to the government and must comply with the government guidelines,
controls and limitations.
The government has a vested interest controlling what software goes on
your machine at the very least to prevent unlicensed software from
proliferating across it's systems.
Do I like it no, but it's the reality

I was telling a friend of mine who works in our DOIM about the Gold
master for Macs that should be released by the Army sometime this year .
After a few minutes she told me I needed to be careful what I wish for
because that sounds like to her that they would take control of our Macs
just as they have down with the PCs. They would control what software is
downloaded to our Macs and other things.
Anyone got any thoughts on how this may play out?
Thanks
