Um, because the BB isn't free--the cost of the handsets is amortized
via the annual support contract?
The real analysis isn't that simple; you have to compare the support
costs of BB + BES to the support costs of iPhone + <insert mail
server>. And to be an honest analysis, you have to recognize that the
iPhone rides existing infrastructure whereas BES is additional
infrastructure. Then you get into all the fuzzy functionality issues...
I'm not saying that it still won't come out in favor of the BB, just
that it's not so simple as "iPhone handsets cost money."
