I submitted bug 5797971 on March 13, 2008, which is a duplicate of bug
report 4043701.
We are attempting to allow use of Macs in a National Security Program
and the erroneous reporting of out of date certificates is
problematic. The user community should be able to determine using the
Address Book if a person has a current x.509 certificate so the Mac
user can decide if they can send secure emails to others.
We do hope this bug gets resolved soon.
Regards,
Paul Derby
