This mailing list is for the use of developers wishing to utilize
Apple Accessibility APIs to either: 1) write accessibility
applications, or 2) make their application more accessible. Our common
goal is Section 508 compliance.

Mac OS X includes built-in speech recognition and speech synthesis
technologies. Developers who are interested in leveraging the power of
these echnologies can consult one another by subscribing to the Speech
Developers Mailing List. Topics of discussion may include questions
about how to use features of the speech technology APIs, discussions
of the best way to achieve a particular speech solution, and tips for
achieving the best recognition and synthesis quality. The list is
intended for developers who are currently developing applications that
utilize the speech technologies; it is not a discussion list about
speech recognition and speech synthesis, but a discussion list about
the details of developing with the technologies.

Anyone know of a list devoted to Voice recognition and captioning
using
the Mac platform? Curious if there is anyone out there using voice
recognition software and feeding the output into captioning unit for
real time captioning.
