ADmitMac for CAC version 2, build 1202 should not break anything when it is
uninstalled. It did not ship with a CCID driver either.
However, there are some versions of ADmitMac for CAC that do have a CCID
driver included. When these builds are uninstalled, the CCID driver is left
on the Mac and is not uninstalled.
If ADmitMac installed a CCID driver on your computer, it would be in
/usr/libexec/SmartCardServices/drivers/CCIDClassDriver.bundle
Do a get info on this file to see if it is my version. The version info
will say "Patched by Paul Nelson, Thursby Software Systems, Inc."
My version has a fix for using Oberthur cards with an SCR331 reader.
If it is patched, the original will be in the same folder in a tar.gz file.
You can extract that file, then put the CCIDClassDriver.bundle from the
archive into /usr/libexec/SmartCardServices/drivers
Other than the CCIDClassDriver.bundle, the ADmitMac uninstaller removes all
of its components and cleans up the system very well. There may be a plist
file left in /Library/Preferences but that would never be used by the Mac
OS.
