That's in my plan and I'm on the working group. :) Unfortunately
we haven't really gotten started yet.

Tim,
The more appropriate approach (but seemingly impossible to correct
going backwards for CAC) would be to enforce the spec within the
Applet and Objects' ACLs -- removing all chance of any failure on the
part of middleware.
Since you are part of the "working group", I might suggest some
interaction with the Non-Windows OS and middleware vendors be part of
your planning. I know as a representative of Apple I would like to be
part of those discussions.
