has anyone used or heard anything about CrossOver Mac from Codeweavers
yet?
I've installed VirtualBox on my Mac without having to compile
anything. You can download the binaries at:

"Free" is a relative term. Unless you have the paid edition of
virtualBox, you have to compile it, which is no easy feat for most
users. Also, as with any VM, you still nee a copy of Windows, which
can run as much as $400.
If you really want free, you use WINE, which is the open source
version of CrossOver. CrossOver is a good deal cheaper than any VM if
you include the costs of Winblows.
