I don't believe 80211n is compatible with G.
You might have to set the airport to G

Hello All1
I'm going nuts trying to connect an Acer netbook to my home network (Airport
Express 802.11n). Acer says the netbook is 802.11g and is not compatible
(this is all the info I could get from them wiithout ponying up $60.00 for
tech support).
I always thought 802.11n was backwards-compatible. Not sure where to go
right now. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Dean
