Start a new exchange account (do not use Setup Assistant).
On the Account Settings page of "Edit Account" window, type in your name and email address and skip down to "Server Information" section.
Type in the web address of your email server (e.g. https://nccmail.AIRFORCEBASE.af.mil/) and make sure "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)" is checked.
Go to the "Advanced" page of the "Edit Account" window. At the bottom, "Client Certificate-based Authentication" select your email certificate from your CAC.
Go to the "Mail Security" page of the "Edit Account" window. Choose your signing certificate from your CAC and encryption certificate for each of the respective sections.
I followed these instructions but I am unable to get this to work. I'm on OS X 10.5.8 on a MBP 17" with Entourage 2008. The account shows up in the left panel of entourage, but no items load. It does ask for the PIN from my card when I open entourage, but it just never seems to do anything. By the way, I am able to access OWA via Safari, but it's the light version, and I was hoping Entourage 2008 would be more robust for me at home.
