"The US Army is currently reviewing the feasibility of deploying the Apple OS X operating system and is collecting information regarding current deployments of the Apple OS X desktop operating system across Army installations. This information will be used to determine if there is sufficient use of this operating system to justify an Army Enterprise licensing/support model. If you represent an Army Director Of Information Management (DOIM) or DOIM-equivalent and you currently support OS X desktops your input is requested to assist the Army in this review. This is an Army only review and will not consider alternate or joint requirements at this time. Due to the public nature of this forum, no additional information will be provided or shared on this request. If you meet the criteria listed above, please contact email@hidden from an Army email account for additional information on this data call."
