I found the quickertek card less than reliable on by MBP17 unibody. It
would lock up the o/s regularly. I switched to Hawking Hi-Gain
802.11n USB ethernet and it works much better.

My information is that the Belkin Express34 cards no longer use the
chipsets needed to work with the Mac.
You may need to use the QuickerTek card.
